Regarding Adly Hussein

Longtime governor of Qalyubia Adly Hussein resigned yesterday due to the public pressure , the people could not stomach the famous NDPian governor anymore and had protests in front of his office.

He is the second governor in Egypt to resign after the revolution due to the public pressure after the governor of Alexandria Adel Labib.

Now as I do not have any documents or anything solid except words I had heard years ago from someone in a position that had first hand knowledge , I will only say that Please check the deals and the agreements former governor Adly Hussein made with huge companies in Shubra El Kheima specifically. Adly Hussein was frequently accused of taking bribes , please reopen these cases again and search in his bank accounts across the world.

I really wish that our governors will be elected and not to be appointed , we do not anymore generals to rule the governorates , we want elected governors who are accountable  in front of the parliament and the local councils.

The Mubaraks’ Assets in Egypt To be frozen “And they are barred from Travel As well”

The general prosecutor has just issued a travel ban order for the Mubaraks , they can’t travel anymore anywhere outside Egypt officially now. This also means that Hosni Mubarak is in Egypt and not in Saudi Arabia
The general prosecutor also has issued another important : Freezing all the Mubaraks assets in Egypt. The general prosecutor issued an order to freeze the Mubaraks assets abroad from couple of weeks ago. The assets freezing order includes : Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, Suzanne Thabet , Alaa Mubarak, Gamal Mubarak, Heidi Raskh , Khadija Al Gamal , Omar Alaa Mubarak and Farida Gamal Mubarak.
The Mubaraks in 1990s (AFP)
This is great news , really great news despite it is little belated , we needed it earlier.
Everyday we hear strange incredible stories about the Mubaraks wealth , a side from the endless palaces we know now that Suzanne Mubarak’s nieces were controlling the gas in Egypt and we know now that our former first lady used to transfer the international donations to Bibliotheca Alexandria to her own bank accounts !!!
According to some official estimations , the general prosecutor has frozen assets so far equal to LE 1/4 trillion in Egypt only for 39 official and businessmen !!  I wonder how much the assets will increase after including the Mubaraks’ assets in Egypt !!
39 officials and businessmen got assets equal LE 1/4 trillion !!!
We are not a poor country , we are very rich and the proof is above.

Qaddafi believes in Occult !!

The videos of Qaddafi’s palace are viral more than his speeches and the Zenga Zenga song. There are nuclear bankers in his palace and underground hallways that do not remind only with Hollywood 1960s cheesy films but rather video games !!!
Forget about the bankers because they are nothing compared to the books that were found in the palace.

Forget about politics or poetry or literature , Qaddafi was found in reading books about occult ,sorcery , Kabbalah and Talmud !! Of course I think he is interested in reading in Talmud not like General Mohamed Naguib to understand the Jewish and the Zionist way of thinking or because his aunty is Jew as it is currently spread online but it has to do with the Kabbalah.
With bankers and books we find ourselves in front amazing classic type of dictators we only though that it existed only in fiction !!
There are lots of updates in Libya currently , Qaddafi is losing more and more cities. He is trying to win pathetically the media war but just like the land he is losing it. He spoke to the Serbian TV on the phone, yes Serbian TV. As usual he blamed foreigners and claimed that everything was fine in Tripoli !! It is very interesting considering the rumors that the mercenaries pilots Qaddafi uses in his raid against his own people are believed to be from Serbia and Ukraine.
Christiane Amanpour arrived to Tripoli yesterday and I think she will have an interview with Qaddafi or his son. I hope that it will be the last interview for Qaddafi and his son just like Mubarak.
Az Zawiyah has fallen in to the hands of the revolutionaries again today. Kufra and Ghadames have joined the revolution as well. There was alarming news that Qaddafi or rather one of his sons has deployed  troops with tanks heading to Misurata. There is an interim government currently being formed , the Libyans are aware of the challenge they have got.
I have not covered what is taking place in Libya lately because there is a lot of jazz of Egypt , annoying alarming jazz to be correct but it is never too late to cover what is happening next door.
Regarding the Egyptians , well nearly 90,000 Egyptians have returned so far to Egypt. In return many Egyptians especially from Al Tahrir square activists have crossed the borders are at Benghazi whether from doctors or activists like dear Tarek Shalaby who returned back from couple of hours ago.
There are thousands of Egyptians stuck in Tunisia , the Embassy should act more quickly to get them back thought. The Tunisians are very kind and the Egyptians were so happy to get there safely. Here is a video I think from Jerba showing Egyptians celebrating the fantastic reception they got in Tunisia chanting “Egypt &Tunisia are one hand” like “The people& the army are one hand” famous chant :)

They should sing it under the window of Seif Al Islam Qaddafi !!
We do not have yet a correct record for Egyptians who were killed in Libya because of Qaddafi's troops' attack. Those who returned back speak about horrors while the ministry of foreign affairs is denying this !! Of course I do not believe the ministry of foreign affairs.

And this is just the start

Egyptian youth have changed the name of Mubarak metro station to the Martyrs of January 25th metro station themselves in Cairo.

This is what we should do , all these streets, hospitals, schools and stations named after Mubarak or his wife or their sons should be renamed after the martyrs of January 2011. Each governorate should name those buildings and streets after its martyrs on January 25 or even the real heroes of 1973 war.
Mubarak was like the Ramses II of his time when it comes to glorification and presidential cult !!

And the angry protests Tsunami has reached to .. Oman !! "Video"

Yes the angry protests demanding political and economic reforms have reached to Oman specifically at Sohar City who can be the next Sidi Bou Zid in its own way .
Since yesterday there have been small protests that seemed to be cracked violently at Sohar City in Oman. The protesters at the former capital of Oman want very simple demands “actually are common through the Arab world” : Better democratic political life and better economic conditions.
According to news agencies 2 civilians have been killed in the protests while according to tweeps on the ground 3 has been killed and not less than 13 have been injured and transferred to the hospitals. The tear gas grenades were used and some are reporting that live ammunition was being used too !!
Here are videos I found
In this video from yesterday below you can see the youth while having their sit in at Sohar square just like our Tahrir square.

It is not big as you can see yet unfortunately the security was brutal !! Killing three is not insignificant thing.
Now this video has been shot earlier today and it shows the tear gas grenades thrown at the protesters.
This video shows  back smoke and traces of clashes at the Sohar square I think.

Officially the Sultan of Oman has ordered a ministerial reshuffle and a raise in student allowances. We do not know if that it will make the protests stop or not but One thing Tunisia and Egypt plus Yemen and Libya have taught us : When there are martyrs the demands’ ceiling also gets higher and higher
Oman is the second GCC country to face protests from this kind following Bahrain. Also it is third country surrounding Saudi Arabia to have protests like that after Yemen and Bahrain.
I do not know much about the internal politics of Oman except that its sultan Qaboos has been in rule for so long time after overthrowing his own father. Politically he is just like any Arab ruler so you may know why the people are demanding political reforms.

Egyptian X-File Reopened : Reda Halal

Reda Halal , an Egyptian journalist whose sudden disappearance has been a long time enigma in the Egyptian media.
I wrote about Reda Halal in 2009 when his brother MR. Osama Halal came to media and spoke about that anonymous prisons department officer and told him that his brother was still alive yet imprisoned at solitary confinement at the Borg Al Arab prison. I wondered why Halal disappeared originally from seven and half years then and I mentioned all the possible theories that were popular about his disappearance. Now after the revolution and the partial fall of the Mubarak’s regime we know that his disappearance has nothing to do with all theories.
Reda Halal
The disappearance of Reda Halal seems to be related to Gamal Mubarak after all. In a surprising move that I would not have imagined it in my wildest dream Al Ahram newspaper published in its “Shabab Al Tahrir” supplement a small yet very important report about Reda Halal yesterday. The report hints that Gamal Mubarak can be behind the disappearance of Halal and his illegal imprisonment.
According to the newspaper the deputy editor in chief of the popular newspaper seemed to be opposing to the succession project and he once mocked Gamal Mubarak at the newspaper’s desk saying “Who is that Gamal to rule us !!?”
Of course this is not enough reason for Gamal Mubarak to put him in jail but another unnamed journalist the newspaper described only as close to security apparatus said that Halal once told him that he owned the medical records of Gamal Mubarak. According to that unnamed journalist Reda Halal disappeared after two days from that conversation.
From time to time I read small hints that Gamal Mubarak unlike his brother suffered from some type of depression especially during his mother’s sickness. It is well known that Suzanne Mubarak is a cancer survivor and she was saved by him when he was found as match to her. Already I do not understand why they kept this as a secret.
Anyhow it seems Gamal Mubarak and his men who began to rise at this time very alarmed with what Halal claimed and thus they went to get rid of him. Of course some will say why Gamal and his men did not kill Reda Halal and get the file as easy as that and I will tell that we do not know how those sick men think !!
If anyone have any info about Gamal Mubarak’s health file or any info about his mental condition , please share it.
I truly apologize for what I assumed that he is involved in some espionage case, I have never thought that he would be disappeared and sent to jail to stay there for this time because of Gamal Mubarak.
MR.Osama Halal accused Hosni Mubarak and Habib Al Adly of imprisoning his brother all that years on air on On TV’s Menshat , he also revealed that he got new info that his brother is believed to be currently at Tora farm prison.
This is the first Egyptian X-file to be reopened so fast after the fall of Hosni and Gamal Mubarak , hopefully it will be closed by the return of Halal alive from prison and suing all those have been responsible for his jail all those years including Gamal Mubarak himself.

A general to head ERTU : Another perspective

General Tarek Mahdy
The armed forces council has appointed major general Tarek Mahdy as a temporary head for the ERTU “Egyptian radio and television union” till the council someone suitable for this important position.
Mahdy used to the head of the Egyptian air defense forces from year 2000 to 2005 as far I have found when I searched in his background. He was born on 22/11/1950 and he was graduated from the war school in 1973 just before the way by few months. Of course he is a 1973 war veteran. He took a lot of medals and also a lot of military courses in Air defense forces. He is married and got 2 boys and one girl.
Many people are not comfortable that a military man who has no experience in media from near or far to hold this position in a critical time like that.
Despite my concern I believe the council want someone they trust to hold this important position , they chose someone from the army itself who has no relation so far we know with the media universe of the NDP.
The general of course has a tough mission in ERTU with all the accumulated corruption since Safwat Al Sherif
This means a lot. Already starting between February 10th and 11th something happened in ERTU aside from the complete control from the army. If you remember more army troops head at the eve of February 10th to the ERTU building and to the presidential palace even before the huge protests that encircled them in these critical  48 hours. First of all these communiques that army used to announce were all sent from the TV unit in their HQ at Moktam. That TV unit in that HQ has its own transmission unit and also its own red button to turn off the radio and TV broadcast in Egypt according to some sources. If you paid attention you will find that Omar Soliman read the step down announcement from that unit , he did not read it from the Presidential palace nor from the ETRU.
In that strange provoking interview with Abdel Latif El-Manawy in Masr Al Nahrda Mahmoud Saad made a reference to some important and critical decision the the head of news sector in Egyptian TV took in the last hours before the step down announcement that history will not forgive later , later General Etman praised El-Manawy for his patriotism.
What Saad and Etman said made me believe that the Suzanne Mubarak's godson Anas El-Fiky "the former minister of information" had some sort of plan to stand with Gamal Mubarak and the rest of NDP gang.Gamal Mubarak allegedly took that step down announcement from his dad's hand on February 10th at the Presidential palace pushing him in a dramatic scene so Jimmy had no intention to leave. "I do not know how true this is but according to all sources Gamal Mubarak was against stepping down"
Speaking about the media I am that not concerned about having an army general supervising on the ERTU but I am rather concerned to the facts that TV shows and TV presenters are being banned from Egyptian TV channels.
Aside from the alarming fact that Mohamed ElBaradei is still persona non grata from Egyptian TV channels , we found out that any criticism to the Ahmed Shafik’s cabinet is not welcomed anymore.
Last Thursday Amr Ellissy hosted on air Ibrahim Eissa who attacked Ahmed Shafik and his cabinet. In its re-run on Friday people were surprised to find that the whole part concerning Ahmed Shafik was cut !! Later we found out that Ahmed Shafik himself interfered and called the CEO of Dream TV 2 on the phone objecting on what Eissa said. Today we found out that Amr Ellissy’s popular show that exposed the poverty in Mubarak’s era has been stopped by orders from above.
El-Lathy spoke with Wael Ghonim on phone and he told him that he did not know that if he would go on air again or not , he also added that there are still those who determine who should go on the air and who should not.
To cover the story from all sides as much as I can there are some sources say that it has to do with some charges Mamdouh El-Lathy , the famous cinema producer “Amr’s father” is currently facing. To be honest I will highly doubt that.
Nevertheless here is the part Ibrahim Eissa criticized Shafik without any editing.
Moving to Misr El-Nahrda Mahmoud Saad has resigned from the popular TV when he found himself technically being ordered to interview Ahmed Shafik in tonight’s show. Originally he was going to have an interview a group of January 25 youth. Saad made it directly that he does not take any order of anybody now.

Mubarak’s first and last international interviews

This is a part from Thames TV’s interview with Mubarak was shortly recorded after El-Sadat assassination in 1981. It was aired on ITV on October 29,1981. I do not know if there were other international interviews with him before that interview during that time or not but for sure this was the oldest thing I found for him internationally.
And now here is the last interview with Christiane Amanpour on February 2,2011 or to be accurate its text because strangely Amanpour did not tape it in video , may be because she was asked not to tape it. Christiane Amanpour made another scoop with that interview , the last interview for Mubarak. Christiane’s coverage in Egypt raised her ratings in the States. In that last interview Mubarak claimed that he was fed up yet he could not step down for fear of the Islamists of taking over. Ironically in Al Arabiya interview from couple of years Mubarak said that he would leave whenever the people wanted him to do so.Of course Mubarak was the man who promised one presidential term , two at most and believed that coffin has no pockets !!
Back to the two first interviews , you will find the Islamists as common factors between the two interviews. In 1981 it was a true challenge during very tough time unlike in 2011.
BY the way Yosri Fouda whose new daily show is forcing us to sleep so late showed us another proof on how we ruled by narcissistic man for nearly 30 years.
I remember I posted that photo before to show the white hair in Mubarak’s famous dyed head. I have always dislike this suit but I thought the pattern was zigzag one , I have never thought for one moment to magnify the photo and focus a lit bit in order to see the Hosni Mubarak’s letters pattern !!

I can’t imagine how expensive this suit is or was , considering that this is a true custom made , the patterns were made on his name !!!!
There is a debate or rather fears in Egypt that Mubarak is still the president as we do not have yet a signed official document that he stepped down nor did abdicate !! There was not a single announcement at the official state newspaper “The Egyptian Chronicles” according to the law and the constitution. The fact that Omar Soliman said that President Mubarak gave up and not stepped down in Arabic makes many people worried. This debate reminds with the debate about whether Former King Ahmed Fouad II is still the king or not as he did not abdicate !!
Even if Mubarak and son are doing a little scheme , it is useless because now he is official former President of Egypt whether he like or not . Even if he is playing some sort of game with the constitution, there is something a revolution that has its own powers that are more than stronger than the constitution.
There are rumors coming from Israeli press saying that Mubarak talked to the Saudi King on the phone and told him that he is still the president.
There is a rumor that can be news that former President Mubarak has arrived to Austria where he is going to check in at one the most expensive hospitals in the country . Allegedly he will stay there for 4 days for extensive check up. If any Egyptian Chronicles reader in Austria can check this news , I will be very thankful.

And this is how it started on January 25th !! "Updated : With Video"

This is how it began on January 25th when the police forces attack the protesters at Tahrir square at night after midnight and this is why I am so scared now !!
The military police has attacked the protesters who were having a sit at Tahrir square and at the cabinet HQ at Kasr Al Aini street. Protesters have been chased and eye witnesses are saying that teasers and whips were used, activists have been detained. No one is allowed to enter there , journalists were not allowed to cover what is going on. There are reports that masked men with machine guns were seen with the military police , I think they were brought to scare the protesters.
I know someone will say that there is a curfew and I tell him that the curfew does not give the military to end the sit in by this shameful and disgraceful way. For 18 days the army let the protesters stay as they wanted regardless of the curfew.
Already where was that curfew on February 2nd when the thugs attacked and killed protesters ??
This is a dangerous escalation , unacceptable one too.
Our dear Gigi Ibrahim and Mona Seif are there. Gigi took several snapshots before her mobile phone battery went off. She was at the cabinet HQ. Her snapshots show the military police surrounding the protesters.

Mona showed a photo for a protester who was beaten by the military forces :(
Here is the latest footage from Al Tahrir square from Ramy Raoof.
Updated at 12:21PM
The Egyptian army has issued an apology on its FB page .Actually it has issued two messages about what happened at Tahrir earlier.
In MSG No.22 the  armed forces council starts its apology with highlighted sweet words "An apology and we know that you would forgive us" This is  the nearest translation. Then the AFC goes on and says that the army is keen to achieve the aims of the January 25th revolution youth and that what happened from clashes between the military police and the children of the revolution was unintentional !!
There were not and will not be any orders to the forces to attack the children of this great people.
There will be precautions that will make that this will never happen again !!
In MSG No.23 the AFC says that it gave its to order to release all those who were detained last night.
Now to my comment

I do not understand how the military police turned so violent against the peaceful protesters if there was not a single order for them to use force !!
I do not understand how the National TV goes and says that the military police warned the people half an hour earlier when according to the protesters the attack started just 3 minutes after that general warning !! The army knew that there will be a sit in already hours prior the curfew and again this does not give the military police the right to use violence in this way.
The army has just issued MSG No.24 that the army position is clear but there is this minority that wants to destroy the revolution and that this minority attacks the army with bottles and stones !!!!!!!!! No body attacked the army last night.
Some people say that the army may have meant the members of NDP and their thugs who recently restored their activity and wanted to create chaos in the country. Some say that these thugs joined the protesters at the Kasr Al Anini at the cabinet HQ and were provoking the army , still this was earlier and those thugs left later.
I hope that the army meant this minority because honestly using the same words the Mubarak media used during the early days of the revolution makes very uncomfortable.
Now here are a collection of videos the protesters managed to take during the attack.
It seems that military police soldier is not from Cairo
This video the protesters chanted the famous "Soldier ,Soldier" chant with a little twist. "Soldier , Soldier , why !!? Are we in Libya or what !!?  The original chant was "Soldier , Soldier why , are we in jail or what"
Another video showing the military police removing tents.
A video showing the protesters running through Kasr Al Aini street
These videos from our dear Gigi at the parliament
Gigi recorded this testimony for one of the protesters

We are not against the army on the contrary , we are so angry because they are supposed to be our army.

And the Friday of Qaddafi has not come yet !!

Ben Ali fled Tunisia on Friday , Mubarak stepped down on Friday and so we are hoping or were hoping that Qaddafi would leave Libya in a way or another this Friday !!
The latest thing we know about Libya aside from the complete liberation of the east and that Qaddafi could be losing more and more parts of Tripoli. Earlier today the Qaddafi´s forces opened its fire at the protesters. At least one Libyan civilian was killed in Tripoli after the Friday prayer. This video is allegedly from Tripoli showing a Libyan man shot down in his last moment.  There seemed to be casualties at the Souk Al Goma'a in Tripoli. That video is allegedly shot earlier today , you hear heavy weapons' sound , some it is RBJ's sound.

The following video is extremely , 18 years old man being shot at his neck.

According to the latest tweets from Libyans and their contacts in the country there are clashes in the Souk area.

The number of casualties is said to be huge , people are no longer speaking about death toll of 600 but 1000 and even 2000.
The city of Zuwarah is liberated now. Az Zawiyah city has also liberated which means the West is also falling more and more under the revolutionaries. There were terrible clashes at Az Zawiyah where many were injured badly
Boston Globe posted a wonderful collection of photos from Libya in its big picture site.
The Libyan TV is still spreading lies about Egyptians, earlier today the state owned TV showed Egyptian passports and also computer CDs including " Office XP" CD owned by Egyptian agents !!
It is quite dangerous , too damn dangerous. We know how foreigners were in danger in Egypt because of the lies spread by the Egyptian TV channels during the revolution. Not less than Egyptians have turned back to Egypt in coffins killed by Qaddafi's forces !!
General Abdel Fatah Younis spoke to the BBC about his dear mad brother whom he turned against. Younis believes that Qaddafi will either be killed or he will commit suicide , the thing which was assured by our famous World Psychiatric Association professor Ahmed Okasha and before former general Mohamed Ali Balal
Now the Qaddafis were very active in the media.
First I can't stop myself from sharing this video for Aisha Qaddafi , this is the first time I see her speaking. Already I wrote before that she appeared on Libyan state TV to deny her escape abroad but I did not have the video then. Here is it.
Qaddafi named his only daughter after his mother and it seemed that she inherited a lot from him when it comes to personality. Aisha Qaddafi knows that all her follow Libyans know that she is a goodwill ambassador with or without the UN !!
BY the way there is a strong rumour that Aisha and her mother have left the country again and are currently in Austria where they are staying at Hotel Imperial
Gamal Mubarak should have married Aisha Qaddafi instead of Khadija Al Gamal , it will be the marriage of the century without a doubt , just imagine it !!
Seif Al Islam made an interview to CNN Turk , you can watch below. The engineer who was being groomed to rule Libya after his father is currently under huge spotlight. We knew that he raises tigers and lions and had an Israeli girl friend !!

His body language shows that he is very tense.
By the way I do not remember whether it is in early 2000s or late 1990s that Seif Al Islam caused a diplomatic crisis with Egypt when he mentioned in an interview with Al Sharq Al Awsat newspaper that he was not Gamal and Alaa Mubarak´s partner in their businesses in Egypt. It was the first explicit mention to the Mubaraks business. The Mubaraks were extremely angry and at the end Al Sharq Al Awsat newspaper paid the price and was being accused of putting words on Seif Al Islam's mouth.
Sief El-Islam is the troubled sick version of Gamal Mubarak as far as I could tell.
Qaddafi made a small and short speech again today , he spoke only for 5 minutes.
I hope that this would be the last third speech , just like with Ben Ali and Mubarak.
Life Magazine showed a photo for Qaddafi when he was young and "Cute" , the word cute makes me smile but of course we can't deny that the 27 years old colonel in 1969 looked handsome and fine !!Ahmed Ezz can star in a biopic about Qaddafi instead of starring in cheesy films and speaking stupidly about Al Tahrir protesters. The biopic will not be funny , it will be sad black comedy as we are speaking about thousands who were killed by his direct orders.
This is underground prison found and filmed in Benghazi , I mentioned it before when the people there set free about 1500 prisoners stuck in it.
This video makes me wonder about the underground prisons in my country Egypt.
Anyhow in my country Mubarak did not use heavy weapons against us , in fact some say that the army stood against him and refused to carry his orders specifically on January 30th ,2011 when all the people in Cairo and Giza saw the first EAF F16 flying over their heads !!
I can´t believe myself when I saw these videos for weapons used against the Libyan people , this video is from Benghazi.

The fire and shredding season in Cairo !!

We do not understand why the old and important icons like Zakaria Azami and Safwat Al Sherif are not arrested yet.

We do not understand why the army did not move too quickly to protect the thousands of documents these men had access to and could incriminate them so easily , since January 28th the paper shredding machines have been working so quickly and effectively along with the fires do not want to stop

First of all according to the leaked investigations with Habib Al Adly there was that room in NDP HQ Ezz and Gamal Mubarak called “The hell room” where they kept important files and recordings for almost everybody in this country from politicians to ministers to embassies to you name it. How did they get these recordings ? Well from Habib Al Adly and his mini security apparatus he made to serve Gamal Mubarak.

In other words Gamal Mubarak and Ahmed Ezz with the help of Habib Al Adly had this little intelligence service at the NDP HQ , the state security was not enough.

Now what happened to the “Hell room” some say that it was burned during the fire of the NDP HQ. This room was very secure and few knew about it thus I will not be surprised to know that it was deliberately set on fire among the chaos that took place on January 28,2011. Already I remember that there was a strange fire that  army tried to put it off on January 29,2011, my own speculation is that this fire was at the “Hell room”

Still burning down

Putting down the fire for the second day

The fires did not stop even when Mubarak stepped down and the army took over I am afraid , it has just started. The ERTU building officials began setting important documents on fire especially Anas El-Fiky , the former minister of information who was arrested yesterday. El-Fiky was accused of financial corruption and wasting billions of dollars and even Euros in God knows what.

Moving to the ministry of foreign affairs , rumors say that Abu El-Gait got rid from important documents as well. I read that Safwat Al Sherif did the same thing , already I do not understand again why Safwat Al Sherif has not been arrested yet !!

Ok moving to Zakaria Azami ,the chief of presidential staff of former President Mubarak. Only last Wednesday we found out that the army sealed his offices at the Abdeen and Orooba presidential after knowing that he got rid of thousands of very important documents. Unlike other officials Azami used the paper shredding machines to conceal God knows what since February 14, 2011 according to some source !!

I do not understand why the army waited all that time to interfere , in fact I do not understand why Azami had access to his offices when officially his president stepped down.

On a side note Adel Hamouda began to open his fires on Azami and exposes his dirty secrets in his newspaper Al Fagr. Azami was accused of facilitating the escape of Mamdouh Ismail if you remember.

Fathi Sorror , the former speaker of the parliament is said to shred thousands of important documents in his house according to his neighbors.

I believe the army should be proactive and arrest all those criminals as soon as possible.

God only knows what was in all these documents that were destroyed.

From one Month ago

From one month ago there were protests in Egypt that started in the morning and we did not know to where these protest would lead us.
Now after one month I can tell you that these protests changed Egypt forever , sorry not Egypt only but the whole Arab world , these
#Jan25 New Hope
I do not have words to describe or say anything except We have just started a revolution and we have not yet finished our work yet.
Our detainees have to be released , we already do not know why the minister of interior denied any knowledge about them we know there are rumors that there are in this jail and that jail !!!
Another thing is our missing , where they are !!?? Here is the latest updated list with names and info for those who can help.
I do not think that January 25 will be remarked as the police day anymore , it is the day when our revolution started. It started on January 25th and exploded technically on January 28th on the anger day.
We started making history on that day.

Counter Revolution : The Return of the sectarian ghosts

In past 72 hours the ugly ghosts of sectarian tensions returned back to Egypt yet thank God these ghost did not create what they were intended to from a fraction in the Egyptian society after the revolution of January 25.

The counter revolution was crystal clear to us in the past 72 hours with these strange sudden incidents with sectarian nature. A priest was killed in his apartment alone in Asuit “according to some he was killed by another Christian over land dispute while other say that he was killed by a burglar” , a fire at the deserted homes of the Baha’is in Sohag and then next day we find more disturbing news that a church was set on fire at Rafah and  that the army attacked a monastery at Wadi Al Natrun injuring some monks.

The army denied the news of that Church in Al Arish , already when I checked the videos related to the so-called incident , I found out that they were uploaded on February 16 !!

What happened at Wadi Natrun at the monastery of Saint Pishoy was the peak because we had what some wanted to be portrayed as the clash between the army and the Christians or wanted to be the start of this kind of clash. Based on the comments I saw online I felt that the NDP online department is too damn active.

Now according to what I understand the monks at the monastery built a wall on a state owned land which is illegal. The army came with its weapons to demolish the wall. This is the story in nutshell. A little addition you must know that the Egyptian government and the Egyptian army issued a strong warning for all those who violated the law and built on a state owned land during the security absence.

The monks claim that they built to protect themselves after the withdrawal of the police and that the army knew about. They also claimed that the army used RBJ and live ammunition. The monks stated where their injured from other monks and workers are “Angelo American hospital” The monks complained the army or rather these troops to AFC.

Pope Shnouda said that monks were unwise to build on a state owned land even if it were for protection according to what he had said last Wednesday yet he condemned the use of force.

The army on Facebook addressed the matter in Msg No.13 where it stated that :

  • The army did not lead any aggression against the monastery.
  • The army has no intention to demolish any house of worship in Egypt.
  • The army only demolished the walls that were built on the state owned land.

The Egyptian Christians were angry after all this and some of them went to protest freely at Tahrir square last Wednesday night.

Now to my own personal view I refuse how the army dealt with the matter but let’s agree that we are not dealing with police yet I refuse how the monks took a piece of land that is not theirs regardless of their reasons.

For 18 days there was no single policeman in front of any church or synagogue or mosque and yet there was no a single attack. The sequence of the events shows that someone is missing up in the backyard and this one we know very well : State security.

Today the AFC has issued Msg.18 : The council monitors carefully what is happening from newly founded expressions like counter revolution and attempts to create tensions between Muslims and Christians and that the AFC demands the people to stand like one in front of all these schemes. “The last part was highlighted in yellow”

I do not know how it could be more crystal clear to the whole world.

Youm 7 which is owned by Ashraf Safwat Al Sherif “whose assets are frozen currently in Egypt ” published a strange news that the Church in Egypt had a meeting with other Christian sects to discuss the future of the 2nd article in the constitution with reference to the refusal of the church to this article. In real life Pope Shnouda did not discuss any constitutional article with one and he does not refuse the article. “I will not publish any link anymore to Youm 7 because I have joined the #UnfollowYoum7 Campaign”

There was a protest too on Thursday and thank God the plans of the counter revolution was sabotaged because the chants were not sectarian as much as they were anti-Police , anti-state security and anti-counter revolution chants.

I do not want it to sound to another former regime’s Egyptian unity cliché but at the same time the real rats of the former regime were doing what they are good at , a group of young Egyptians hanged the Egyptian flag between the Two Saints church and the mosque in front of it.

It is not a cliché because i would like to remind you that one of the main suspects behind the bombing that shocked the whole nation in the beginning of the year is Habib Al Adly himself and MOI !!

I see a counter revolution scenario , let’s pay attention for it.

Mohamed ElBaradei Writes to Financial Times his vision to the next Phase of Egypt’s revolution

Mohamed ElBaradei wrote to Financial Times his vision to the next phase of Egypt’s revolution and it is worth to be read because so important. Dr. ElBaradei outlines a plan of 4 steps as the next phase of the democratic transition in Egypt.

  1. Having a provisional constitution guaranteeing  equal rights and basic freedoms, and outlining the purposes and limited authorities of the transitional government
  2. A three-person presidential council should be formed to lead the transition. Two of its members should be civilians, neither of whom should have ties to the old regime. The third should be from the military.
  3. A caretaker government of highly qualified people of unquestionable integrity, to provide the continuation of basic services, replacing elements of the old regime that have lost credibility.
  4. All residual instruments of the outgoing dictatorship should be abolished

Dr. ElBaradei spoke about one year transitional period and why it is better than 6 months , he also spoke about the Muslim brotherhood as he always does in international media to end that myth of Muslim brotherhood’s myth.

Dr. ElBaradei has said this before and he is insisting on it and this is why I respect him more any other politician in Egypt because unlike other politicians he did not change his opinions over and over on the contrary.

I do not understand why the AFC has not met yet with Dr. ElBaradei nor why Dr. ElBaradei is still barred from Egyptian channels and the state owned TV. We have not seen a single interview with since the fall of Mubarak despite long time blacklisted personalities like Heikal have come back to our national TV screen after decades of absence. By the way there is a new Facebook page calling the AFC to meet with Dr. ElBaradei.

This is not a youth only revolution and as a young person in Egypt I trust Dr. ElBaradei as negotiator with the AFC more than any youth delegation. I trust the AFC’s generals and their intentions unlike many people currently in Egypt yet I do not understand why they do open a direct channel with Mohamed ElBaradei instead of talking with Dr. Mustafa Al Nagar and Shady Harb from his campaign “ I trust both of them sincerely”

Helping our brothers in Libya

What is happening in Libya from crimes against humanity demand us as humans , as Arabs and as Egyptians to help our Libyan brothers and sisters in their quest to freedom and democracy.

Our Libyan brothers and sisters are in need of blood and medical supplies , 0you only can watch one the videos I posted in my daily posts about Libya to know the challenge the Libyan hospitals in the liberated Libyan cities and districts face from blood and medical supplies shortage.

If you are interested in donating blood or medical supplies to our Libyan brothers and sisters and you live in Cairo or Giza or Helwan , you can head to either Raba’a Al Adwayia mosque at Nasr City in Cairo, Cairo or Mustafa Mahmoud at Mohendessin in Giza to donate. Drop of blood or piece of cotton can save life in Benghazi or Darnah or any other liberated city.

I will not say for the sake of January 25 revolution but for the sake of the 2true Egyptian ethics that were revived on January 25th ,2011 and dazzled the whole world for 18 days , please help the Libyan. For the sake of Aziz Pasha Al Masry and Abdel Rahman Pasha Azzam who fought the Italians along with their Libyan brothers in the last century , help the Libyans even with a simple prayer.

God knows what they are witnessing is much more worse that we have seen and had seen in all those 42 years , both of us suffered from dictatorship but they have to bear with a madman in power of 42 years.

And Meanwhile in Maadi !!

And meanwhile in Maadi at Algiers square a police office shot down a microbus driver after a verbal tirade over traffic priority. According to eye witnesses the driver told the officer at the end that he should remember how the people forced the made the cops stay at their homes for 3 days.
We made you stay at your homes for 3 days.
Next thing the police officer pulled his gun and shot the driver 3 times , the driver was killed as simple as that. The people attacked the police officer and burned his police car. The army came and saved officer who was transferred in to hospital. People have been protesting since then , it is a bit chaotic. There is a news that the people are attacking the police station there.
The police car on Fire "Tarek Amr"
There is a video filmed from the scene itself , you can watch after the break. It is not graphic but it is full of insults.

I do not know if that the police officer or the driver but I think based on what I know it could be the police officer because he was saved from the angry people by the army while he was on its top. The people seemed to be hostile to that person in this video.
The police officer is alive unlike what was claimed earlier. It turned out that his name is Salah Ashraf El-Saginy and he is the son of infamous officer "Ashraf El-Saginy" who is known for his torture and human rights abuse record during the time of Hassan Al Alfy and Habib Al Adly. "You know what is said about the apple and the tree after all !!"
The friends and family of the late driver said that they will head to Tahrir square
The last thing I got from twitter friends in Maadi that the youth are calling for a sit in at the Algiers square. The police officers have left their positions again and the Youth are currently organizing the traffic. There are protests currently , big protests in front of El-Saginy's house and as well the Sakr Qoraish police station.
Nothing justify this murder , it is a murder by all measure. I will not listen to any justification for any kind because a person was killed. The police force need rehabilitation with courses in anger management. We are waiting for the reaction of the minister of interior on this murder.
I think the police is not ready yet to face the public because honestly they have not admitted a crime that they deserved to stand for in front of a military trial. We will not forgive or forget that easily and we will not buy the cheap talk of the police martyrs “some of them actually were actually killed by their bothers in arm like late General Batran” , we will not buy the cheap talk of good cop and bad cop , we will not buy
We want a full complete confession of being responsible for those 500 Egyptians killed “according to and those thousands injured. We want a full complete confession that what happened from leaving positions for days even at our borders in Sinai was a crime.
The people of Maadi have suffered a lot during the revolution of #Jan25 not less 20 were killed in one street aside from the injured when people tried to protest near the house of Ismail El-Shaer , the former head of Cairo security directorate.El-Shaer is currently house arrest by the way. Anyhow I remember calling my relatives in Maadi who described a catastrophic scene especially in the populated areas. They were among the first people on ground who confirmed to me on January 28th and January 29th the use of live ammunition.
This was a huge battle we should not forget and the people already in Maadi have forgotten yet and this is why they are extremely angry now.
Update :

  • It seems that Maadi will spend the night without police force.
  • According to We are All Khaled Said group both the officer and driver are alive.
  • The officer's rank is major.
  • The MOI has suspended that officer from work till the end of investigation.
  • Hundreds were protesting at Algiers square tonight chanting against state security and police.
