Hossam El-Hamalawy and Reem Maged left the military prosecution with no charges what so ever, it was more of a chitchat meeting !! From three hours or more Reem and Hossam came out of C28 , the headquarter of military prosecution and according to their lawyers who attended the meeting , there were no accusation at all. Hossam Hamalawy was asked to report the incidents he spoke about in the show with evidence. Hossam did, already he went loaded with video clips , reports and testimonies on military police violations.

She said that they only wanted Hossam to report the matter and there will be a meeting between legal experts , lawyer and military prosecution to discuss military tribunals. Reem stated very important detail that starting from now there will be no "Military source" said this or that , ranks and names will be mentioned to stop any confusion and any rumor. I do not know what happened to Nabil Sharf El Din but it seems that just like Reem and Hossam it was a chitchat meeting. According to some friends there Reem allegedly gave the officers some advices on how to communicate with the people. They were all treated respectably. It is not a surprise. Hossam is going to talk on ON TV tonight.
I bet the military prosecution did not know or imagine how Hossam and Reem were so popular as there was a protest outside the HQ in solidarity with them and in solidarity with freedom of expression.There were other people as well who came for their own men who are facing military tribunals. The key words here are public pressure , we will not be silent on any violation anymore Now I do not want anyone to speak about Nabil Sharf El Din or even see him on TV , this man must be blacklisted. He is just angry that he got no piece of the cake.

Shahira Amin wrote a very disturbing report in CNN where unidentified army general admitted that there were virginity tests conducted on women detainees arrested from Tahrir square on March 9th ,2011. This is the first unofficial confirmation that the tests were conducted.It is worth to mention that the army first denied then stated it was investigating the matter. Up till now we do not have the result of the investigations. I believe Amin should reveal the name of the general , we should know who said it because if we do not we will fail to prove anything and restore back the rights of these ladies. I am not a legal expert but what happened to them is sexual harassment and they should sue military police. Already from what I understood they should report the matter to both general prosecutor and the military prosecutor . Knowing how things are now in Egypt , I will not be surprised to know that Shahira Amin will be summoned to the military prosecution to reveal who that general is considering how dangerous his statement is and how the report has become a major news around the globe. Mrs. Amin as professional for sure will have an evidence on this conversation. I hope that the night talk shows would have the guts and address the matter as they should . We also would like to hear the reactions of SCAF members tonight , of course I will not be surprised if they denied the incident and claimed that CNN is foreign network with foreign agenda.
Dear friend Hossam El Hamalawy aka @3arabawy found himself summoned to the military prosecution along with ONTV talk show star Reem Maged tomorrow. Hossam El Hamalawy spoke last Thursday on ONTV and he criticized the practices of military police and also he spoke wisely about how the mainstream media was turning the SCAF in to another Mubarak with their normal hypocrisy it was raised upon for decades.

He did not cross any line on the contrary he did not say anything more than what was said that week from Yosri Fouda, Nawara Negm, Wael Khalil ,Ibrahim Eissa and Belal Fadl. Knowing the mechanism of the military prosecution and based on what happened with Bothaina Kamel , it seems that someone reported them and complained to the military prosecution , like of instance the military police or general X or Y or the Morale department. I am not worried about them but I am worried that this is getting silly , more and more journalists are being summoned day after day. Sometimes I understand when someone publishes or says false news about SCAF or the army but I do not understand why someone is summoned about his or her opinion or about facts like the practices of military polices in specific incidents documented in video. Already I do not understand why the military prosecution does not investigates these incidents which overshadow the relation not only between SCAF and the revolutionaries but the SCAF and the people themselves. I do not understand why former Lt. General Hossam Swallium who accused the Egyptian revolution of being an American made revolution was not summoned to the military prosecution , Swallium already accused SCAF of treason indirectly with this accusation as SCAF took the revolution’s side. Of course I do not know if Swallium was actually summoned or not as military man but I am just raising a point here of those who really insult the army and SCAF. Anyhow Reem and Hossam are not the only reporters who were summoned to military prosecution but also El Wafd editor in chief and journalist plus journalist Nabil Sharf El-Din for claiming that there is a deal between Muslim brotherhood , Salafists and SCAF even if they do not say directly. Of course Sharf El-Din went a little too far when he lost his temper with hot tempered Mamdouh Shahin last Friday. Now regarding Sharf El-Din I know that I have to stand with him because of freedom of expression but I can’t forget the fact that he was a former state security officer before becoming a journalist. I can’t forget that he used to appear on Egyptian TV during the revolution to attack the revolution and Tahrir square. Of course he can’t stomach the Muslim brotherhood thus he is attacking SCAF. I do not trust Sharf El-Din at all. Sharf El Din is not like Hossam El Hamalawy or Reem Maged or El Wafd or El Shorouk journalists with my due respect to freedom of expression. Some will say that this is worse than the days of Mubarak , I have to disagree because in days of Mubarak we were not allowed to speak at all and we were glad that there is no censorship after the revolution and we began to enjoy with this leap in our media with channels like ONTV , Tahrir TV and 25 TV. Freedom of expression is not a grant ,it is right we have to push boundaries more and more to get it. We will not stop fighting for this. Actually Ali Abdullah Saleh has been leading his own camel battle in hope to push the country , his own country in to a civil war for a week with his attacks against major Yemeni tribes so it is not surprise that he would order current attack place in Ta’iz against protesters at Freedom square. After midnight we found out that Saleh’s troops set fire in the tents at the square and opening their fires against peaceful protesters. Not less than 7 were injured and tens were injured in primary estimation of course numbers will be bigger as usual. Already from while ago the field hospital at the square has called the help of doctors. According to Al Jazeera Arabic there are bulldozers heading to the square and actually now they are saying that bulldozers have ran over the protesters !!! This live stream is transferring from Freedom square on aire from time to time. From short time ago there was a huge smoke and sounds of fire engines and ambulances’ sirens in the scene.

It seems that already it was a bloody day in Ta'iz as there were videos showing a terrible scene in the Safwa hospital from injured and martyrs. It seems that there were attacks all over the day but Saleh gangs waited till the midnight till they have an upper hand with their bulldozers !!
There are sounds of explosions and bombing in town. There is a news that the protesters took a hostage from the Yemeni army in return that the Yemeni army would release their detainees !! It sounds crazy. Now it seems that it will be an old night in Ta’iz , who knows this could be the end of Saleh insh Allah. Some people are drawing parapllel with what happened in Bahrain’s Lulu square if you remember it. Farid El Deeb is former/ousted president Mubarak’s lawyer “as well as the lawyer of infamous Israeli spy Azzam Azzam” and since the start of the investigations he has not spoken yet to the Egyptian media as far as I remember. Yet strangely and surprisingly we find him speaking to CNN today !?

Already El Deeb is not that fool to think that he will deceive the west by appearing and claiming that his client does not own anything except LE 6 million for his career in 26 years !!? I do not know why he was not asked about the Swiss and British statements about Mubarak’s wealth before accusing the minister of Justice El-Gunndy of lying !? Now is not it accusing the minister of justice of lying or spreading lies on TV enough for the minister to sue El Deeb for defame on public ??
I am glad El Deeb made this interview , seriously because he has provoked millions of Egyptians with his talk about how Mubarak owns only LE 6 million , how Mubarak is so depressed and needs help to get in to the bathroom and how the police officers were killed “not the protesters” !!
Farid El Deeb you once insulted the Egyptian people while defending Azzam Azzam for real in court and you even called them names , now you are doing it once again by not only defending Mubarak but claiming that he is innocent !!
By the way I read three very interesting pieces of information from couple of days ago regarding the Mubaraks’ trial :
If Hosni Mubarak is transferred to Cairo , he will stand in front of Judge Mohamadi Quansah of criminal court and the last time El Deeb defended someone in front of Quansah , that someone got death sentence. “Hisham Talaat Mustafa” It is worth to mention that there was a lot of tension between Quansah and El Deeb.

Egypt’s true and only Diva Sherihan was attacked outside Tahrir square last May 27th,2011 , she was harassed and stalked in a disgusting way. Of course Mubarak orphans’ used the incident to defame and attack both Sherihan and Tahrir square !! El Wafd portal published a video showing Sherihan harassed and attacked by bunch of thugs while people tried to protect her and form a human chain around her.

Now you must know the amazing Sherihan came alone with no bodyguards or what so ever as far as we know from filmmaker Aida El Kashaf , she stayed at Tahrir square from 1PM to 6 PM safely and nobody attacked her from near or far on the contrary already we did not know that she was there unlike other celebs from politicians and actors. Then at 6 PM she left when the protest was over , after crossing the popular committee at the entrance of Tahrir square “at Kasr El Nil bridge” she was attacked by a group of thugs. Update :Sherihan's spokesperson has spoken to the media and denied that it was a sexual harassment attack or it was deliberate. According to other eye witnesses who saw it some troublemakers had some sort of fight with her driver at the same time she came from the square surrounded by fans who wanted to take photos and thus she stuck in the middle. Nevertheless we got the fact she was injured according to Aida El Kashaf. I do not know how it started but I read that someone asked to take a photo with her and then things went terribly wrong and evil. People in the street tried to save her and form some sort human chain but failed. There were strange persistence and violence , it was deliberate violent attack. Sherihan is fine now but her arms and legs are badly injured according to Aida El Kashaf. I am so angry and furious. Sherihan as usual does not speak to the media about the incident. I think she does not want this incident to be used again the revolutionaries or Tahrir square but from what I see is that it is already being used in the media whether online or offline either ways. Some people will draw parallels between Sherihan’s attack and Lara Logan’s attack still I think Sherihan’s was a true deliberate attack , we can’t be sure from this in Lara’s case despite some suggest that it was a deliberate attack by Mubarak thugs in order to spoil the moment especially Lara was detained by security forces before aside from the fact Sherihan was really outside the square. Sherihan stayed safely for hours in Tahrir so why it happened to her in particular after leaving the square !? Why did not it happen with any other woman returning from the square in the same way !? Why did the thugs followed her even after she crossed Kasr El Nil bridge !? Why is the Mubarak’s orphans media insisting that she was harassed not only attacked at Tahrir square during the protest not outside it after the protest was already finished !? I found this Facebook page dedicated to Sherihan “We are sorry Sherihan”. Amazing Sherihan was the first real A List celeb in Egypt to declare its full support to the revolution on Al Jazeera channel on January 28th on air with no fear when all the A List celebs were kissing the regime ass !! This incident will not break down Sherihan , on the contrary knowing what this lady faced since young age , since the death of her brother then her terrible accident then surviving from cancer,I believe this is just a stumble in the road. Update :At 7 AM Homs local time a terrible crime took place in Homs when security forces "allegedly army forces" opened their fires on school bus following El Rawafed and Choueifat private schools. 13 students aside from the driver were on the bus,they were from one family "El Khatib and they are not related to Hamza El Khatib May Allah bless his soul". The children were transferred to El-Kendy hospital , 5 of them are in a critical condition while 4 of them are stable still a 10 years girl Hager El Khatib was killed along with one of the ambulance medics. The security forces opened their fires on the ambulance as well !!! The army of course is denying the incident but there are video clips from the hospital showing the poor injured kids !!!!!!!! I do not need to comment about Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah’s speech about Syrian last week , let’s just say that Hezbollah lost a lot of what they could imagine with their position from Syrian revolution. Yesterday Syrians took the streets to protest the torture and murder of late Hamza whether inside Syria or outside it. It is worth to mention that early today more security forces were deployed in the city and not less than 4 citizens have been killed so far there. Update : I got tweet from Sham NN claiming that a 10 years old girl was killed today. It is really strange that Hamza was from the city of Giza in Daraa and insh Allah next Monday Egyptians and Syrians will protest his murder in front of the Syrian embassy in Giza , Egypt !! There are news that there is internet blockage in several areas in the country and it seems that it is expanding. I have lost counting for real when it comes to the numbers of dead and injured through out the country not to mention the number of the detainees !!!!!!!!!! We are speaking about 1100 martyrs and over 10,000 detainees !!!!!!! Now I share with this list of companies which Ramy Makhlouf either owns or has shares in.
And the promise has been fulfilled, Egypt officially opened the borders with Gaza this morning to lift the inhuman blockade that continued for years. 300 Gazans reportedly have crossed the borders in early hours and dear Palestinians made a rally to thank Egypt and the Egyptian government for this decision.
Of course there are restrictions for this decision , some do not like the restrictions and I respect their view but honestly if we are speaking about international borders you need some restrictions. I know that as an Egyptian I need special clearance if I want to go to Gaza just like the Visa for any other country. There are still doubts and fears for sure that the crossing will be closed again , these doubts and fears are natural and even me as an Egyptian have them because after all those years under Mubarak rule , under the siege it will be impossible to have open crossing permanently.
I love that , I love that so much and I really wish that the SCAF and the government consider Dr. ElBaradei’s idea and have this open zone between Egyptian and Palestinian Rafah , it will boost the economy of North Sinai in a way you can’t imagine especially in these hard economic times. Now there are other good news of the day for sure Thank God :
Hosni Mubarak , Habib El Adly and Ahmed Nazi were fined LE 540m “ $ 34m” for cutting off communications whether mobile networks or internet across the country during the early days of the revolution. This is the first clear sentence against , this is the first official condemnation to him , of course his lawyer El Deeb will appeal but I am kind happy to hear that court rule today. Mubarak has to pay alone LE 300m. Many are asking now in Egypt who will pay this money or from where he will pay , well he got money abroad.
There is news that Youssef El-Sherif, the chairman of ERTVU will leave his position next June 1st.
It seems that Mubarak will stand in front of court in Cairo and it seems that insh Allah he will be transferred to Tora prison this week.
Ok today is May 28th and we began to see videos and photos from around the country not only Cairo from #May 27, I do not care how big the protests were outside Cairo and Alexandria but I care about the fact that people went , normal people away from any political affiliation went to the protests despite the media intimidation and the hot weather. You must know that the biggest recorded protest for sure was in Alexandria where not less 1/2 million protesters went to the streets while in Cairo the biggest estimation of Tahrir protesters were between the highest estimation 500,000 and the lowest estimation in the rush hour 200,000.

Ok what is the important lesson here we should learn ? Why did I show these videos from all over Egypt before Tahrir square !? Because the revolution was not only in Tahrir square or Cairo as some want it to appear so to minimize the revolution , this is an Egyptian revolution in every square from Aswan to Alexandria , from Rafah to Salloum and from Wadi El Gadid to Sharm. Another important : This is an Egyptian revolution , true Egyptian revolution. I hate when someone from the previous regime goes and says in the media “The Tahrir square will not its terms” because I know it is not only Tahrir , it is every square and street in Egypt that are putting their terms.If you watch carefully these videos , you will know that the common demand between all those Egyptians all over the country Is : Justice and Security. They want justice from those treated them less than animals. They want security , they want the police force to do its only job as it should. God bless this Egypt and Egyptians.
