Syrian Revolution : #Ramadan Massacre Indeed “Graphic +18”

Indeed it is Ramadan Massacre what has been taking place in Syria in the last 24 hours , it is a true massacre by all measures. I bet that El Assad boys would have done it like their papa and uncle in 1982 if it were not for the media exposure.
The death toll is over 100 so far , in Hama according medical sources to CNN not less than 115 were killed while other sources speak about 200 martyrs “ I would go for 200 in these circumstances”. Bodies are all over the streets according to eye witnesses in Hama. It is just a déjà vu from 1982 indeed. Hospitals need blood and doctors are asking people to prepare first aid bag at the entrance of houses and buildings as the regime troops targeting buildings and mosques. Snipers are reportedly over the rooftops of certain hospitals , police stations and electricity stations in the Hama targeting the civilians. People are asked not to turn on the light in any room with a window and to stay away from windows so they will not shot down by snipers.
People were reportedly killed in Reef Dimshaq , Aleppo , Daraa .. it has become a norm actually after all these months but yesterday we are speaking about , I do not know how to describe it. The army has entered another city in Hauran which means more civilian casualties. People are exchanging over twitter and Facebook on how to stop tanks like in guerrilla warfare. Not less than 10 were reportedly killed in Kiswe,Reef Dimshaq. There was a strike in Latakia in solidarity with Hama. Arwad , the island opposite to Latakia protested tonight in solidarity with Hama.
Now you must know that a group of protesters will try to have a sit in at Umayyad square after the Tarawih prayers. It is not the first time the Syrians try to have a sit in there.
The Umayyad square sit in.
Below a compilation of  videos that are extremely graphic and heart breaking , there is more than a human tragedy in Syrian now.  “ Graphic warning +18”
Hama : This little girl called Ghadeer and she was shot down in her house
Hama : Badr Hospital “extremely graphic +18”
Hama : Another child , Ahmed Muard El Masry on Hama highway
This kid can be of Egyptian ancestry by the way “El Masry” usually refers to Egyptians who accompanied  Mohamed Ali Pasha in his quests in Levant.
Reef Dimshaq : Martyr Rashad Mahmoud
Adlib : Martyr Ahmed Mohamed Hasson killed by Shabiha
Now that video below from Hama shows the buses of thugs entering the city yesterday’s morning.
Hama : Buses full of thugs and criminals enter the city July 31st
Hama : The defected tanks
There are night protesters all over the country , in fact several cities and towns protested in solidarity with Hama , Daraa and Deir El Zor. There are protests even in Damascus , in fact it is huge development that there were several protests tonight in Damascus.
Latakia : A strike and a protest in solidarity with Hama
Arwad : A protest in the middle of the sea
Damascus : Down with the regime
Maarrat Al Numan : A sit in in solidarity with Hama
Homs : The people want to topple the regime
Now in Cairo things are intense and hot indeed. Yesterday there was a small protest in front of the Syrian embassy in Cairo at 5 PM , the numbers were not big due to the terrible traffic condition but I believe the voices were high enough to the embassy officials and the world when young Egyptian protesters screamed that they do not want the Syrian embassy in Egypt anymore. The protest was surprising for the army force protecting the embassy but I feel it was not that surprising for the embassy , I think there were not too many employees in the embassy.

Many Egyptians now want to expel the Syrian ambassador out of Cairo, Wael Ghonim summarized when he said :
I am not honored as an Egyptian to have in my country an ambassador for Bashar Al Assad’s criminal regime.
Officially there is no reaction from Cairo so far regarding what is taking place at our soul mate nation. Nabil Al Araby has not spoken yet about the massacre that took place today especially after stating last week that his his conscience comfortable regarding Syria !? This is the real test for Nabil Al Araby , the man who went to Tahrir square on February 1,2011. Dr. Al Araby please resign if you can a stand as a secretary general for the LAS , take the stand as a free man , as a man who used to be  judge one day.
Our presidential candidates also have not spoken yet except one and actually I am not surprised that Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei was the only prominent Egyptian to speak about Syria and its Ramadan Massacre like that whether in English or Arabic.
Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei said in Arabic in his official twitter account :
Allah’s peace upon Syria’s martyrs. Shame on every Arab and on every human.
And said in English in his official twitter account :
The world is watching the slaughterhouse in Syria. Shame on us
Tomorrow Egyptian activists are going to have another protest in solidarity with Syrian people at the Syrian embassy in Cairo again at 10 PM. You know Egyptians love the sleepless nights of Ramadan. Of course I do not know what is the use of having a protest at 10 PM when no one is at the embassy at that time !!
Bashar Al Assad is now featured in Tahrir square graffiti.
According to my knowledge there were several protests in front of the Syrians embassies today not only in the Arab world but across the world. Young Arabs do not want Syrian ambassadors in their countries anymore and want to withdraw their ambassadors from Syria like Qatar.
Wait for more update insh Allah , we will see if the attack , if the genocide will continue or not on the first day of Ramadan , in fact the Syrian revolutionaries do not escalate the protesting and start to protect their country and their families as they should.
@10:49 AM Update :
Bashar El Assad made an interview to the Syrian army's magazine to celebrate the 66 anniversary of the Arab Syrian army !!
Carlos Latuff made a cartoon about Syria.
Carloss Latuff
Yara Kassem also made another cartoon

Yara Kassem- Daraa
@1:34 PM Update :
Potential presidential candidate Hazem Salah Abu Ismail issued a statement in his official Facebook page condemning the attack on Hama. Abu Ismail said in his statement that the blood of Hama will speed from the fall of El Assad regime.
Here is a video from the small protest held at Syrian embassy yesterday in solidarity with Hama.

@1:54 PM Update :
From Hama after one hell of night , the poor city woke up today on the funerals of its citizens killed all day long. Despite in some quarters things are calm and citizens are trying to get food for the breakfast full , there are other quarters that witness heavy gunfire from early morning.
People are still killed in the blessed first day of Ramadan ,Homs, Daraa and Hama got their own Ramadan's martyrs officially today.
Below videos for the martyrs and injured "Graphic18+"
The first martyr in Ramadan in Daraa
A child injured in his head in Hama

Now the Coordination of the revolution in Hama "some revolutionary group in Syria  issued a very important statement regarding a video that has been spread lately on Facebook by the regime supporters with the title "Muslim brotherhood throw bodies in Orontes river in Hama". The Coordination of Hama states that this video was filmed in place outside Hama and that the Orontes river is not running anymore in Hama in the fact because of the dams in the street."The group believes that government will open the dam now".
Mobile phone networks are reportedly cut in Reef Dimshaq.
The Syrian army shelled the El Hamdia quarter using these types of ammunition, they shelled the main old mosque in the quarter.

Nabil El Araby issued a statement for the Arab leaders to listen to their people and to respect Human rights accords !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@AmnestyOnline is asking eyewitnesses from Hama and Deir ez Zor to come forward.
@9:06 PM Update
Tanks are currently shelling indiscriminately residential area in Hama , according to eye witnesses it is worst shelling ever.
Tens are reportedly injured while the electricity is cut in certain areas.
@10:2PM Update:
The electricity
This is a live stream from Hama , it was updated from an hour ago and it is just horrible. The narrator speaks on how the city is being shelled from all the four entrances of the city , it is so emotional when you hear the shelling and voices of the men saying Allah Akbar , death and not humiliation and the people want to topple the regime.
Many are reportedly injured and killed , I expected tomorrow's morning hundreds as hospitals are currently being shelled. Not less than 7 have been killed according to Al Jazeera.
Now people living near the central prison in Hama have reportedly heard screams and gunfire , people are assuming that there was an attempt for mutiny.
Here is a video I found for a protest after Taraweeh prayer in some street in Hama

Another video

Protesters are being attacked in Hauran currently and Homs , there is a heavy gunfire reportedly in Hauran
There were protesters who were killed after the Taraweeh prayer during the night protest in several area.

More than Bad traffic in Ramadan’s night

Traffic has been a curse so far in Cairo today , it is something expected before Ramadan or feasts that the traffic would be more than horrible. We always act as if we do not know that Ramadan or Eid is coming except at the last moment but today has been more than over for two reasons from my point of view :
The Maspero protest :
Since afternoon and dozens of ERTVU employees are protesting outside the Maspero building blocking the corniche from both ways. Of course now they are being surrounded by CSF soldiers that exceed them in number “and in power actually”. The CSF vehicles left Tahrir square and moved to Al Galaa street , Hilton Ramses and Corniche blocking the way.
It is not a big secret that the employees of Maspero are furious and threatened to escalate their protesting to any level since last Thursday after trying to block the live broadcast. They were originally objecting the the delay in implementing the new Maximum and minimum wags list set as well as the delay of bounces and raises promised by Major General  Tarek El Mahdy. There were also rumors that 20% of the workforce will be laid off. The new minister of information Osama Haikel stated that he would announce the new wages list this Sunday but there has been nothing today.
Now as response the employees decided to cut the road of the Corniche , now things went from bad to worse to worst when a car hit 4 employees. 2 of the injured employees were transferred to the hospital where as the the other two were transferred to the medical clinic at Maspero building. Now I went to the protest and despite I saw small number of protesters considering the amount of security forces surrounding the building yet I believe there are  more angry employees inside the building. Nevertheless the employees outside were extreme ply especially that there were rumors that the car that hit the employees was actually Osama Heikal’s and that one of the employees passed away in the hospital. I saw high police ranks trying to convince the employees to open the road but they refused.
The employees of Maspero were chanting against Osama Heikal , they do not want him as minister of information. They chanted pro-Tarek El Mahdy on the other hand wondering “ Where was El Mahdy hidden and why they hided him in reference to SCAF !?”

This is the main reason I believe Cairo was somehow was paralyzed.

Al Tahrir square’s traffic :
There have been a lot of rumors about the Tahrir square’s traffic and the sit in. Most of the political groups and movements decided to suspend the sit in because of Ramadan while the families of the martyrs and few political groups like “The No for military trials campaign” decided to continue the sit in. Those who have continued in their sit in transferred their tents near to the Mogamma , it was a good sign that the traffic would be opened but according to my sources and also to all our friends the security committees “The strange and suspicious security committees” are refusing to re-open the square for traffic especially in Ramadan. The shops owners and vendors in Down town are extremely angry , really angry because they consider the Holy Month of Ramadan as a season and that they believe the Tahrir sit in protesters are standing their profits. Since the morning there were a lot of rumors that there are clashes between the venders and the protesters , the traffic is back.. etc. These rumors made some people head to Tahrir square and find out it was closed to be stuck in a terrible traffic jam.
Now I believe it is wise to open the traffic at Tahrir square now for the public because it will make it much easier for millions of Egyptians in Ramadan. We do not want to lose more public support to our cause. I will not go in to debates regarding this now with my all due respect.
Nevertheless you got “ realizing Ramadan at the last moment” factor playing very important factor here.
More photos and a video from Maspero coming in the way.
Happy Ramadan and Happy traffic jams people of Cairo and Egypt.
I want to say something : For 30 years people were shut up by force so please before you blame anyone , any political force or party for acting irrationally remember we are being forced to act in this way after losing our rights for more than 30 years.

Syrian Revolution : Hama Massacre 2011 edition “Extremely Graphic”

There is an on going massacre taken place currently in Hama , Deir Zor and Daraa.
According to early estimations not less than 45 civilians have been killed by the Syrian troops since early morning in the three cities. Hama got the most casualties with fears that today will be a rewind for the infamous Hama Massacre. Not less than 30 have been killed so far were killed in Hama where most gunshots are in the head and chest while dozens have been injured.
This attack takes place after weeks of besieging the city with army tanks. There are news that some army troops have defected in the North of Hama and that these troops are currently protecting the city there , there are also rumors that those who are killing the civilians are not actually Syrians but rather foreign elements.
The videos are extremely , extremely graphic.
Here are videos showing tanks in the heart of the city with heavy gunshots. The tanks entered the city yesterday.
Hama : Heavy gunfire
Hama : Heavy Gunfire
Hama : Tanks and gunfire since yesterday 30th July
Hama : Heavy gunfire

  • @11:42 AM
More than 300 are injured so far in Hama. I want to cry literally
Not less 100 tanks are currently at Deir El Zor.Tanks and troops are reportedly approaching for a mosque in the city where there are injured. The regime thugs are terrorizing the citizens , opening their fire and destroying properties
The Syrian Observatory for human rights says that the death toll is more than 100 !! "Well I am afraid in this way , we can have more than 100 just today in this way."
There are protests in soldiarity with Hama today across several cities and towns in Syria.
More videos from Hama

@12:02 PM
More shocking shots from one of the hospitals in Hama.

The tanks are reportedly entering towns and cities in the governorates along quarters.
A petition for Syrian missing , since the breakout of the revolution not less than 3000 citizens have been missing.
@1:07 PM
6 April youth movement is organizing a protest in solidarity with the Syrian embassy in Cairo at 5 PM Cairo local.
The army has entered the city of Boukamal in Deir El Zor, there is an expected on going massacre taking place
There are protests currently in Reef Dimshaq , Latakia, Daraa and Homs along other cities in solidarity with Hama.
Mosques are being attack as usual in Hama. The hospitals in Hama need blood donations.
Now the people are having their doubts about the army defects in Hama , they believe that some of these defects or actually most of them are fake as these soldiers facilities the entrance of thugs or as they called in Syria "Shabiha" to the quarters of the towns.
There are women and children among the casualties as snipers all over the rooftops of the main city. Here are more martyrs' names from Hama '1 and 2 '
The regime gunmen/Shabiha are vandalizing the city and burning down public and private properties.
@1:31 PM

Happy Ramadan 2011 “Revolution Tahrir style”

The grand Mufti announced tonight that the holy month of Ramadan will start on Monday August 2nd ,2011.
Happy and blessed Ramadan 2011 to all Muslims all over the world.
For sure this Ramadan has a new taste in Egypt without Mubarak , for sure it has a new taste when we are trying to build our new Egypt.
Hopefully this Ramadan will be special for Egyptian Chronicles and its Chronicler , wait for more interesting posts insh Allah and wait for the return of the 10001 Radio nights along other special features in Ramadan 2011.
Happy Ramadan again and God bless you and bless Egypt.
May Allah bless our martyrs and our injured, May Allah bless our revolution.
Tthere are some calls for having a breakfast next Friday at Tahrir square insh Allah , I think this will be a great idea.

Okasha and Mortada reach to Brazil

Carlos Latuff is our lost Egyptian cousin in Brazil , I feel that this is a lost fact. Mr. Latuff “Originally from Levant”, his dad left Egypt after the nationalization to Brazil and his son Carlos became a cartoonist who is happy to be featured on the same page with Abdel Nasser.
Carlos Latuff’s latest work includes none other than our Tawfik Okasha and Mortada Mansour.
Conspiracy " Carlos Latuff"

Blackmail , Mortada for presidency
"Carlos Latuff"
Okasha and Mortada  are now  international figures , their fame has reached to Brazil !!
I am waiting for Zpider’s cartoon or even better Somia and Fifi !!
Agree or disagree with some of Latuff’s cartoons yet you know that man is more Egyptian than some of the Egyptian cartoonists who are too afraid from expressing their opinion and the opinion of the public freely.
By the way we should not make fun from Okasha because there are people who watch his show and his channel in the country , there are people who believe him like for instance in the country side. Same thing should be said about Ahmed Zpider and the sports channels and programs. Do not underestimate the power of the media or TV and do not think that we can push further the revolution.
I hope that serious talk shows hosts like Reem Maged , Yosri Fouda , Ibrahim Eissa and Belal Fedal host Zpider and Okasha to put an end for their claims before someone gets hurt or even killed. I will not even speak about the Salafist channels because I think we should include these channels to the foreign funding investigation currently taking place in the country.
Of course our Egyptian people are much wiser and it is enough that they did not believe that the Mubarak media and went to the streets in those 18 days but I just fear on our simple people who are being ignored and despised by the elite revolutionaries. These people are the true Egyptians we need to reach for a real democratic transitional support.
Anyhow let’s cheer you a little bit.
Here is the latest on air confrontation between Mortada Mansour , the potential presidential candidate and currently suspect in the camel’s battle and Khaled El Ghandour “another NDP/ Alaa Mubarak’s friend
Mansour claims that he will run for the Zamalak sports club chairman’s elections and El Ghandour wonders how he will run for the Zamalak elections if he will run for the presidential elections !!?
Mansour Vs. El Ghandour
Mansour :
I will run for the presidency , for Zamalak’s chairman , for the bar association’s election , for the parliament !!
And here are Tawfik Okasha’s best of the best clips. “Actually it is the worst of the worst”
Oksaha speaks -1
Okasha speaks-2

Mubarak’s trial to be at The police academy

The ministry of justice announced today in Cairo that Mubarak’s trial will be held next August 3rd at the Police Academy in Nasr City as expected. Tomorrow there will be a press conference with more details about the trial of the year , the century and the Egyptian modern history as well.
Mubarak academy for security
"Natural Reserve"
There is still an irony in the new location of the trial as it was used to be named “The Mubarak academy for security” !!
According to medical sources Mubarak is fine but suffers from depression.
Today the martyrs of the revolutions have been joined by another one , a citizen from Kafr El Sheikh passed away earlier today after 6 months in coma , he was shot on January 28th while he was going to open his shop.
Today Field marshal Tantawy has ordered a raise in for the martyrs’ compensation in the upcoming 72 hours to LE 30,000 from 5,000. He also ordered that the compensations of the injured will be determined based on the degree of the injury.
We are waiting for the historical trial despite many of Egyptians believe that Mubarak will not make it , many Egyptians are expecting more unrests in the country like the unrest in Al Arish the more we are getting close to the trial.

Al Arish On Fire "Updated"

There are huge clashes since today’s afternoon in Al Arish border city. According to what I understood there were militant group that attacked both the police and the army. It started with an attack on Al Arish second precinct by that militant group after the end of the Islamists’ protest in the city that was peaceful.
According to official sources 3 citizens “including 70 years old man and 13 years old boy” were killed and 28 other citizen were injured.  An army captain was reportedly killed in the clashes.
Updated :
The death toll has increased in to 4 citizens according to Al Ahram Arabic portal , a 18 years old young boy has passed away after being injured in the clashes while Ashraf Al Anay from Sinai says that the death toll increased in to 7 and while there are 23 injured; 17 are currently treated at the army hospital while the rest are being transferred by army medical helicopters to other cities.
Here is the photo of the 13 years old boy that shot today while riding his bicycle :(
After the break there is a video allegedly showing the shooting that took place that killed him and how he was announced dead in the street "Graphic"

The Eastern military region aka The 2nd division has sent already military support to the city. The Egyptian TV announced from short while ago that the army arrested 4 militants while there are sources claiming that the army will send a special force.
According to some sources that militant group is connected to Mohamed Dahlan while other sources says that they are connected to some militant group called "The Islamic liberation army".
There is a huge army presence in the region that has not been seen for decades.
Here is a video shot earlier showing those who think that they are the militants.
Who let these people enter Al Arish not to mention who are they !? They can't be from the tribes !?
All what I hate in this issue is that the racism towards our Sinai locals is on the rise again , you know the people of Cairo must find someone to hate
The statue
Some eye witnesses who spoke to media in Cairo claimed that those militant were wearing black clothes and carrying black flags with the Shahada and chanting Islamic slogans. There are witnesses and sources claiming that there are foreign elements within these militants “!!”
The clashes began with the police and militants and sooner it turned in to confrontation between the army and those militants. According from what I understand the clashes are still on.
According to some source the Statue of late President Anwar Sadat was burnt down.
Al Arish second precinct was torched on February 12th ,2011.
People are extremely concerned and worried in Cairo to the level that some are actually asking the army to impose a curfew and declare martial laws in the famous border city.
I can’t keep what is taking place currently at Al Arish from what happened in Cairo today or the fact that Mubarak’s trial will be held on August 3rd,2011.
Here is a video showing the sounds of gunshots near the police precinct.

According to the information we got these militants start to rally from Al Rafai mosque at 2 PM and that the army started to have a clash with them at 5 PM . According to Ashraf Al Anany those militants wanted to occupy the governor's building and announce Islamist Principality "!!"
It turns out the Dahlan connection or rumor came from the fact that the police arrested that gang that stole Bank of Alexandria from couple of months ago and among the thieves were two Palestinians who used to work in Dahlan's force.

Here is another video showing the militants at the Rafai Mosque after Friday prayers.

I know that there are Egyptians who were killed including a child , including an army officer , I know that our sovereignty was truly insulted today , our army was truly insulted today and our police was insulted today when bunch of militants can not be stopped up till now.
I will not speak about the conspiracy theories , I will not speak about the political meaning of this attack but I know in a respectable country the minister of interior should resign
I know there is an army officer that has been killed today while defending his country , I hope SCAF truly understands this because it is insulting when your army is ranked the 10th in the world and can't end a fight with a militant group all these hours !!
Update @ 2 :10 PM
It seems that there was technically a war zone in Al Arish last night.
The name of the army officer that was killed at that small battle was called Hussein Abdel Gazar.
A Police Second Lieutenant was killed yesterday as well.
1 army officer and 2 police officers were injured along 10 soldiers " 2 from the army and 8 from the police"
A Police captain has passed away this morning at Al Arish hospital after being injured  , his name is Youssef Mohamed.
Late Youssef Mohamed
The gas pipeline has been blown up again.
According to Al Arabiya News network 15 suspects were arrested among them 10 Palestinians while Hamas movement is currently doing its best to secure the borders.
Here is the video of late Gazaar's military funeral earlier today May Allah bless his soul.

Mubarak Trial Will not be at the CICC "Updated"

We do not know again where the trial of Mubarak will be. Yesterday it was announced that the trial of ousted/former president Mubarak will be at the center but now according to MENA judge Abdel Aziz Omar , the head of the appeal court will announce the location of the trial tomorrow Saturday.
Update : The trial will not be held at the CICC's GAFI hall because the ministry of interior will not be able to secure it according to the minister of Justice Abdel Aziz El Gendy.
Mubarak’s trial is supposedly to be held at “GAFI” conference hall. El Wafd newspaper claims that the preparation at the “GAFI” conference hall was ceased today. Here is a video showing the hall.
CICC-GAFI Hall
Based on this statement the trial will not be at the CICC despite the CICC did not deny that the ministry of justice rented a hall in the CICC and the hall was being prepared for the trial next Wednesday. There have been rumors that Mubarak’s trial will be held next August 3rd,2011 at the Police academy today.
Historically this will not be the first trial, high profile or historical trial held at the CICC , in fact it will be a historical irony if Mubarak’s trial is held there because the first trial was none other the trial of President Sadat’s assassination was held at the same hall. The GAFI Hall was actually built specifically for that trial to include the famous 309 suspects like Ayman El-Zawahary and Aboud El Zomor. If we look to the GAFI hall history at CICC we will find even more interesting historical fact : Rifaat El Mahgoub’s assassins trial was held at GAFI hall at CICC.
The irony comes from the fact that recently Mubarak and his friend Hussein Salem are being accused of assassinating both Sadat and Mahgoub. The irony comes from the fact that Mubarak was the man who actually issued the orders to build that hall.
I hope that the trial will be held at the CICC not the the police academy , in fact that there will be a real trial after all.
