Exclusive : The Senate's Egyptian Bride

I do not think that the following details are mentioned in Egypt anywhere else so it is kind of exclusive thing thanks to my dear friends in Egypt and Nigeria.
If you remember from couple of weeks there was news coming from Nigeria that a senator there had married a 13 years Egyptian girl after divorcing his fourth wife. There was an uproar in Nigeria and the feminist groups demanded an investigation where as the Egyptian embassy was watching the whole matter from distance for fear of interfering in the internal political life of Nigeria especially there is a coming election. Despite breaking the laws of Egypt , the state seemed to be unalarmed unlike back there in Nigeria.
Now senator Yerima has said that his new wife is not 13 years old , well he did not lie , she is not 13 years old but rather 14 years and she is daughter of his driver in Cairo.
Here is the full story of Senator's Egyptian wife.
Her name is Mariam Maged M. Eladly and as I hinted above she is the 14 years old daughter of Yerima's driver in Cairo , according to unconfirmed information Yerima may have paid a huge dowry that could reach to $100,000. The marriage was not held in Cairo because underage marriage in Egypt is against the law but it was rather held at the Abuja national mosque. 32 family members  from the girl's family had flown to Abuja on the expense of the senator.
I do not care about the elections season and the political life in Nigeria , I will not go in to an endless debate whether the senator should marry this girl or not but I know that our embassy and the ministry of family and child should be reactive and do something. The senator's silence and insistence on not revealing more about his Egyptian wife and background details is making it worse , those who did not break any law fear nothing or keep things in the dark.
Religiously I think it is unfair for a man to divorce his fourth wife to marry a girl younger than him by decades not to mention using exploiting her poverty.
I think this matter is important , not less important than the incident in Ketermaya if it Is not more serious , Mariam has got other sisters who were technically sold to elderly men from all over the world especially in the Gulf and this has to be stopped.
Again I hope that our embassy would be more active , our Ambassador in Egypt again can send his wife to meet Mariam in order to make sure she is not underage teenager, our ambassador should think of Mariam as if she were his daughter.
