I will tackle again the so-called ground zero mosque controversy as it seems that this is not the end and the whole world seems discussing it, it is not a local matter in the United States First of all I must hint to two issues :
It is not actually ground zero mosque , it is four blocks away from ground zero.
It is not a mosque , it is an Islamic center.
Second of all this is not a campaign against a center that is few blocks away from ground zero , this is a campaign against Muslims and Islam , you only have to read the banners of those angry tea parties supporters and the right wing in the States , you only have to listen to Gingrich and Palin's ignorant rants to understand that this is an issue against a whole religion.Already I do not understand how Palin wants to be the president of U.S while forgetting that she should maintain and build good relations with Muslims around the world and in the United States in order to win their votes !! By the way I believe Palin jumped to the center's wagon to avoid all this media buzz about her daughter's drama ; just check the dates and you will understand what I mean.
Third of all Obama should not have entered this battle because he lost both sides. I understand that this has turned in to a battle between the democrats and the GOP but I hope that would not be on the expense of the Muslim community in the States. The GOP are using the 9/11 families and their angry feelings fueling it more and more for their own benefit.

Fourth the Cordoba initiative should not give up and move to another place because this is not a battle on a piece of land or a building , it is a battle about acceptance. Fifth I am not an American but I am thinking how the Muslim American of non foreign origins , whose grandparents came from 200 years and built this country will feel now !!?? I bet they are feeling like aliens , I bet they are feeling rejected despite that their own constitution recognizes them and their rights. Sixth there are Muslims who were killed in the two towers and these Muslim Americans are being attacked on a daily basis in that hatred wave.Their families did not lose their beloved ones only but they are being prosecuted on daily basis for being Muslims. Seventh I agree with Mr. Mustian despite he does not seem to me a political activist.
