Sakina Fouad on Our Wheat Crisis , What else Can be Said

Sakina Fouad , the famous Egyptian writer and journalist spoke about our wheat crisis in On TV’s Manshat  last week and since then I have not read or find any reaction about what this great lady has said in the media despite its importance , is it fear ?? or there is nothing can be said more !!?? Check the video after the break. “In Arabic”

What Fouad has said can in fact must open an immediate investigation with current and former ministers in any democratic transparent country.

For years Fouad has been vocal about our wheat problem giving practical solutions and exposing conspiracies on our wheat production.

This fine lady has paid a high price for standing for our rights ; she lost her position in Al Ahram newspaper because she said we can produce locally our wheat and that our minister of agriculture’s policies are the reasons why

I want to see one man , real man from the regime to stand against this lady.

You will be angry and sad when you watch this video , you must be angry and sad , you will even wonder why we do not down this regime that works against the welfare and the national security of this country and its people who should stop being spectators !!

I am not pessimistic and despite being angry and sad from that interview , I am full hope because according to what our dear Fouad said , we have a strong potential to produce enough Wheat for own local instead of being the world’s biggest importer of wheat !!

There are interesting facts mentioned in this video to support this claim :

  1. The Wheat unlike the regime urban myths does not need lots of water .
  2. The Wheat according to late Dr. Ahmed Mostageer’s researches can be cultivated using salt sea water , already the researches of the genetic engineering in Egypt are used in both Argentina and Saudi Arabia.
  3. Not only Dr. Mostageer’s researches we have got but we have got hundreds of similar researches can change our life upside down.
  4. If Saudi Arabia managed to have sufficient production of wheat , we can do it.
  5. It is not that our production does not meet our needs and demands , but it is about the fact that that the farmers do not grow wheat anymore thanks to the policies of the ministry of agriculture that force them to grow cantaloupe and strawberry
  6. Since 1987 the minister of agricultures promise that they solve the wheat problem and they do not.

Why does not the government or rather the regime aka Mubarak listen to this !!??? Does he want to be overthrown by a real hunger revolution !!??  Is this how he plans to end his era !!??

In the end I will leave with our current minister of agriculture Amin Abaza :

Cotton is an old fashion !!
