Chris Hickson is a History major from Fort Worth, Texas. Chris came to us in the Fall of 2007 and quickly made a impact at cornerback for the Roos-wining the Jim Tubela award as the most talented freshman athlete in the Austin College athletic program, not just the football team. Also while spending his last couple of years here, Chris has made the Academic All Conference team, while maintaining a high enough GPA to make the Dean's List at AC-When asked why he chose Austin College, Chris tells all that "I came to AC for the Austin Teacher Program, great education, small school environment, to play football, and to become a Red Shirt"- We are sure glad he did.
Advice to Roo recruits?- "Dont be afraid of greatness-take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way, and when choosing a college, make sure you choose one that will make a lasting impression on your life"
