Austin College Graduate Assistant Josh Willis has been selected to participate in the NCAA Future Football Coaches Academy, which will take place from January 9 through January 11 in conjunction with the American Football Coaches Association Convention in Dallas.
Willis, a four year letter winner for the ’Roos from Harrison, Arkansas, was an All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performer as both a punter and a safety and finished among the team and conference leaders in tackles each of the past three seasons as a player. The NCAA Future Football Coaches Academy will give Willis, who completed his eligibility in the fall of 2010, the opportunity to pursue a career in college football coaching.
The Academy is sponsored and administered by the NCAA with the support of the AFCA, the Black Coaches’ Administrators and the National Football League.
