While most freshman stay on campus- they are able to take classes like "how to play bridge" and "German Culture and Civilizations: from Bog people to the fall of the Berlin Wall"-
Most upper classmen usually take one Jan Term and go out of the country to places like London, Paris, Rome, New Zealand, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, etc. Some study art, some study history, and some learn a new language- but all have a great time, and some back a different person!!!

We went to a restaurant in the middle on London called Texas Embassy. It was a rather cool place due to how they thought "Texans" acted and dressed. But nevertheless we had a wonderful meal and started having a great time. And then we thought to ourselves after looking at some of the things on the walls in the restaurant and decided that we needed to leave something from Austin College on the walls so that everyone that went there from AC or not could enjoy Austin College like we do. So one of our friends Erika was wearing an Austin College football shirt and I asked her if we buy her a "Texas Embassy" shirt if she would take her shirt off and let us sign it and then put it on the wall. And she gladly accepted because its not everyday that we can "Represent" all the way from London, England.
